Just an update -- nothing too big. It finally warmed up after a looonng, cold, rainy stretch. The only problem is with the 60-70 degree temps came the 30-40 mph winds.
We've had some illness running through our family. I think I've been hit the hardest -- I've got a nasty cold I can't seem to get rid of. It's been a week and a half with no sign of let up. I haven't even hopped on the bike to commute to work the last two days, so you know it's bad.
Kade had a dentist appt. the other day and they discovered his first cavity. He doesn't know what's in store for him when he returns to have it filled in May. We're sparing him the gory details. I drew the short straw and will take him -- it probably won't be pretty. Up until now, he thought the sole purpose of the dentist was just looking inside his mouth and then rewarding him with a sucker.
Bobbie got up at about 5 a.m. this morning to get Abbey out and drive to the Y to get some swimming in before work. I don't know how she does that. She has great discipline when it comes to getting her exercise.
That's it for now. Hope everybody is doing good.

Hi guys,
I think it's about time for those winter ills to disappear! We should be getting extra sunshine and therefore healthier--- but it's kind of slow coming this year.
Have been enjoying working in the garden this week. Nice to work up the ground when the weeds are pretty slow starting, makes it feel like you are ahead of the game for once. Got the greenhouse tent up so I moved three trays of plants out to harden off. That means I can plant some more under my lights. It's already taking me a 1/2 hr to water what I've got most days.
Poor Kade ( and poor Dad)-- not too many things are as hard as that 1st "real" dentist visit. Let's hope he didn't inhereit Bobbie's dentist phobia.
Spent this week at work in front of a computer screen trying to figure out the new system wide computer programs we will be doing our nursing paperwork on starting May 1st. The first day was awful-- we had a test at the end of the day and I truly could say I had no clue how to answer most questions. Could be an ugly week or two. Maybe they'll fire me???
Cousin Jack is here again running the disc. It's definately male bonding time. Not sure how long he's here this time.
Had a great weekend with Jeannie and the girls last weekend. I would imagine Jeannie needed to rest up a bit after all that driving.
Not much else-- thanks for the update! Love, mom
Kevin - that is not fun at all having a cold. It's going around Marshall as well and so far we have been able to stay away from it. I hear it hangs on for quite some time. I hope Kade's dentist experience will be a good one for him. Poor little guy! Hang in there...sounds like a great weather weekend!
Tammy and Terry,
Details, details.....we want trip details! (and a picture or two)
