Bobbie returned tonight from an overnight conference in Kearney. Kade, I and Abbey survived without too much trouble.
I've thought about giving the blog a new look -- but Bobbie said she likes it as is with the family pics. So I decided to let the poll chime in.
I had to field some tough questions from Kade as we were heading out to dinner last night. He was asking about what happens when Abbey dies, then what happens when we die, and if mommy and daddy would die before him... Geez, I just wanted a cheeseburger! So I did what any good dad would do -- I told him to wait until his mother got home to ask her. :)

I need an "other" box to check because I'm OK with the blog, but I don't think I agree with the part that says "the blog commissioner rules!"
Bobbie did you get cornered by Kade with the questions yet? Good luck! Kevin you were so thoughtful to pass the subject on to your wife!
I too would have passed those questions on, what a deep thinker :) Maybe he has a little bit of his dad's winter weather blues. It has been awhile since you last posted on the blog, you are slipping...but I am game for a new look if you can keep the pictures. So what happened with our family Christmas poll outcome Mr. Commissioner!
You know, since we seem to be unable to get a new "spring look" outside, maybe a new look on the blog would be ok. Not that I am complaining about the old one-- am enjoying it as is as well.
Mr. Commissioner, I gave the blog address to Uncle Jim when he was here this week. It seems they now have a computer. Like a idiot, I didn't ask for their e-mail. Are we open to extended family??
So Kevin, are those tough questions harder or easier to field than the 7-10PM fussy baby time and the "how much actual sleep will I get tonight" of the 1st yearof parenthood?? Jeannie and Jason might want to check in with a view on that.
It's snowing again tonight. Was the Science fair in Armour tonight but we wussed out, even though Zach and his friend Taylor won their division with theirs. Dad is already sleeping in the recliner. The deciding vote was the information my coworker (who also works in long term care in Armour) told me- that they had 15 cases of influenza B in the nursing home and were doing creatinine liver tests on all the residents before beginning Tamiflu therapy on everyone, both staff and patients. Yuck!!
Oh well-- spring has to be around somewhere! Love- Mom
The Christmas poll ended up 6-4 in favor or leaving the White Elephant as is.
Jill - I edited the poll so you feel more comfortable in voting ;)
Sharon -- yes, I can add Jim/Connie no problem. I just need their e-mail address to send them an invite.
