Thurston baby news

Just a quick line to let you all know that Adelyne is in the hospital since Mon. with RSV. She sounded pretty sick yesterday (Tues) and Jeannie has been staying with her. She is on O2 and has IV's running, (standard tx for RSV). So far Alex has been ok. I will go there tomorrow after work to see if I can be of any help. Will try to keep everyone posted. These twins aren't going to let Mom and Dad take any breaks!! MOM

Thanks so much for letting us know mom. We will for sure keep them all in our prayers. Those little girls are fighters so, hopefully she will be back home soon with her sisters.

Love,
Tammy

Hi Everyone! Adelyn is doing better this morning. Her O2 was turned off this morning at 8am so she is breathing in room temp air. Keep your fingers crossed she makes it through the night. She has to be off for 24 hours before they even consider letting her go home. She still has an IV in, but they reintroduced half milk half pedialite (sorry for incorrect spelling) back into her diet this morning. She sure was a hunger little thing she about ate my hand off just giving her the bottle.

As Tammy stated they are fighters and hopefully she will be home by the end of the week. Let's just hope I don't have to return back to the hospital with Alexandra next week. RSV is extremely contagious and can last for 2 to 3 weeks even after syptoms have stopped.

Anyway, I will try to keep you all posted as much as I can. Jason and I have decided if we can make it through all this we can make it through about anything. It is just a good thing we have awesome family and friends available to support us. Thanks in advance for all your help and prayers. Jeannie!

Thanks Mom and Jeannie for the updates. We'll continue to pray for Adelyn to come home soon and for Alexandra to fight off any nasty viruses. Take care, Love Jill
