"Something Else" means...
Regarding the current poll -- if you've voted for "Something Else" you're not getting off the hook that easy. Inquiring minds want to know -- what did you have in mind for the next Christmas?
I didn't see the option to suggest "something else" next to the item we vote for Mr Blog Commissioner!
Let's see...We could play Bingo - and give prizes out to the winners, that way the kids could get involved...ummmmm....I am really not sure...me will have to think about it!

In all seriousness -- I like the white elephant, but maybe it's time for something different. I wouldn't be opposed with doing away with gift-giving altogether, but my spouse would never agree to that. I suggest locking Bobbie and Jill in a room and have the last person standing decide its fate.
I guess the drawing names would be a good option. Everyone would get something and we could still put a limit on amt. spent. Should be some gifts under the old tree!! If I get you, Kevin, I can always work on the muscle shirt thing!! Mom
