Thurston Update

Hey There Everyone!
I know, I know it is about time. It has been a while since I have put anything out here. So, I have some catching up to do. I thought I would post some pictures of the twins birthday party, and best of all there biggest birthday present yet. I can officially say we now have big girls.

The party was a blast we had 20 little kids and lots of parents. We only had one casualty. Our neighbor broke her hand. This is the second party we have had that someone has broken something. We are going to disclaimer that parents can no longer play on the fun kid things. The twins had fun, though and that is all that matters.

This weekend they got their birthday present from Jason and I. We decided it was time for them to get big girl beds. So, they got bunk bends. They have been a hit, and their big sister is quite jealous. We did tell her she could have bunk beds for her next birthday if she wanted to give up her dreams of getting a dog, but she is holding on to the dog dream.
We can also officially say that Alexandra is officially potty trained. She has been wearing big girl panties all weekend. Woo Hoo! Addy could care less that she is the only one left, so we will see how long that takes.

Okay, I am rambling. I wish all of you a happy January. I hope you are staying dry and warm. Can't wait until we all get together again.

Love Ya-Jeannie

ps. Mom I don't know what to do with Bella's flower. It is growing, but no flowers. I think it is about ready to break off.

Bunk beds? How awesome! We are a little slow sending b-day gifts, or should I say buying them! Let me know if there's anything they want/need and didn't get. I'll try to shop next weekend, but I'm only promising they will get it before they are 4! We're glad we weren't there for the party since Emma just got her cast off! Rough group of parents, huh?
It's supposed to be 70 degrees tomorrow so visitors are welcome anytime! We really do wish we had snow! We miss you all and hope to see all or at least some of you soon!!! Lots of love, Jill

Pretty cool beds, girls!! Something about being able to crawl into that top bunk that always seems like a secret place---

Glad all of your troop escaped injury at the party. That old rule about if something can go wrong it will pretty much holds true.

Bella, I am pretty sure you have the biggest plant so far. Better have your Mom measure it (before it falls over and meets with disaster. I can't believe it hasn't given you a flower yet!! Don't give up, maybe it's just lazy.

I guess I might suggest finding a strong stick, sticking into the pot clear to the bottom and tying the thing to that. Also maybe a ice cream bucket of gravel to set the smaller pot in and put the stick in the gravel ???

Stay warm and keep wishing for spring!! MOM

Wow!! I haven't been on here in a while. LOVE the pictures. Thank you so much for sharing.

Bunk beds...how cool is that!

I will be doing my usual "Birthday in July" for the twins, so don't let them think I forgot them!
