Hi all. Kade just wanted to report on the status of his amaryllis. It is FINALLY taking off. I've also included a couple of quick pictures from skating at the farm over Christmas.
Hope you are all doing well and staying warm. We've had our first real snowfall today; they are predicting up to 9 inches by tomorrow, but I highly doubt that is going to happen. At least the wind is relatively minor, so no blizzard conditions.

Thanks for the skating pics- I'm afraid the poor lake is deep under snow today. I think we are at 8" again. Am just waiting for the wind to kick up.
Kade, great job with your bulb! Bet you have a flower yet this week. Haven't heard a word from anyone else-- maybe you'll have the first blossum??
Bobbie, your nice note made me get all teary. Glad you all are talking to each other about this topic. Good to know everyone's thoughts.
Well, think I'll head for the sewing machine. I might have to head to Platte tonight before it gets dark as I have to work tomorrow. Hopefully Kathy's bed and breakfast is still open:).
