Well, I don't know what they are predicting up north, but if what they are saying holds true about down here, we may not be able to travel safely until possibly Sunday. I am hoping it goes south, or isn't as bad so we can at least come on Saturday morning and make the party.
Just wondering what everybody's schedules are for the end of the weekend and into early next week? Just curious in case we have to wait to come up later.
I'm still crossing my fingers that they are way wrong. Kevin thinks I'm delusional, though! :-)
This isn't the way I had the White Christmas thing planned out. We were all supposed to get there easily, have the party Saturday, get a light snow that night, sled on Sunday, all travel home safely and easily Monday. I don't ask for too much, do I??

Yes we are suppose to get 14 inches on Thursday and Friday with 35-45 mph winds. Not sure, but I hope it does something different. We will be coming Saturday. I think Tammy has to work on Monday so it might be a possibility to do it mid-day on Sunday as contingency.
We were planning on heading home Thursday. I am also scheduled to work on Monday. We will see what old man winter has in store for us. I sure hope Jill and David can make the flight in. I am hoping everything holds out so we can all make it home.
I'm also hoping it won't be as bad as they are saying. (obviously a denial thing, right?) There is enough food here to feed an army, if the army can get here that is.
I'm scheduled to work the 24th so will probably go in the afternoon of the 23rd to be sure I can get there. If the storm really develops, I'm thinking I will probably be stuck there working Christmas as well. Probably not a big deal, as if it's that bad you guys won't be waiting for me anyway.
Any day during the weekend is ok for us.
Are moving sheep and cattle home this afternoon. Dave is nervous and I don't blame him. Nothing but an electric fence keeps those cows in and a good blizzard means they could wander over that easily and end up who knows where. It's slippery out today so should be an interesting horse ride. Good luck all and stay safe!! Mom
We are not happy with Old Man Winter either - well Zach probably is, because the snow will be prime snowmobiling weather!! We are leaving to go to the Hills on Tuesday morning. What about postponing till a 3-day weekend in January = Martin Luther King Day?? Just a thought, maybe Jill could switch her tickets??? I'd hate to be on the road or plane with little kids in this weather - cell phones can only do so much.
I LOVE THE SNOW...but what a bummer on the timing...we are going to see if "Wally The Weather Bear" is predicting it right this time! Some of our neighbors are already planning a "Hood Blizzard Christmas Gathering" Please help us :) Stay warm and safe...we love you all! PS: Ter is getting his sled primed to go as well. We could possible sled to Geddes - HA!
