Jacob showed his sheep (this one is Licorice) for 4-H on Tuesday. He also showed a sheep named Blackie, he actually did well for not working very much with the sheep. He received a purple for both sheep and for showmanship. He was excited and said he would be back to do it again next year.
This is a picture of the second place Ag Olympics team. They did a variety of "games", including carrying a water in a bucket to a water tank (the bucket was full of holes), carrying an egg on a spoon, searching for a black ball in a bucket of styrofoam peanuts and water and then they had to roll a tire through an obstacle course. But the final game was finding a gummy worm in a plate of chocolate pudding - without using your hands!! Most of the team had pudding up their nose. Zach said it was fun, though.
Notice there are no pictures of Rachael, she banned the camera from the hospital room - but she is feeling much better.

Very cool guys. Congratulations to all. You know, this city kid spent a few years in 4-H. But I never was cool enough to have livestock -- unless you count rabbits as livestock, and I'm betting you don't.

Hope all is well up there!

Pretty awesome job Kriz kids. Sure wish my mom and dad would have let me do 4-H. I guess I will have to live the excitement through you guys!

Sounds like it was a lot of fun! Congrats to the winners.

Hope Rachael continues to feel better. Did Cotton get any 4-H competition action?
