Zach designed a CO2 car for shop class. They had to carve the car from a block of wood. His teacher said it was the lightest car a student had ever carved. They raced across the gym floor. Zach's went 68 ft in under a second, therefore he won a trophy.
Rachael won first place in the science fair at school. She did a project called "How Manures Help Plants Grow". Dave helped her collect 4 different types of manure and Grandma gave her a recipe for "manure tea". She grew corn with the teas and the cow manure won. She now goes on to the Regional Science Fair in Mitchell.
