Growing, Growing, Growing

Emma is over 19 lbs., quickly moving towards 20! She was just in to visit the doc again this week for a nasty cough. She had just finished her medicine on Monday morning and Tuesday night a different kind of cough started! She has been a tough little girl trying to fight off all the nasty stuff, but it may also be battle of allergies. Fortunately, she continues to test negative for RSV so we are relieved. Her lungs are clear and oxygen level is normal so it seems she may have allergies that took over after we thought she had finished her cold from a couple of weeks ago. She's taking a nightly dose of Singulair and albuterol 3 times a day. She has been less congested and much happier this weekend! She is a trooper; still wanting to eat and play throughout most of the week . She hasn't started any new foods because she's taking meds, but she is pounding her fists some days waiting for her cereal! She is rolling all over her crib and the floor, but hasn't started to crawl yet. She's grabbing anything she can and her 2 bottom teeth are making marks on everything she puts in her mouth! Sharp little teeth they are!
We hope you are all well. We miss you all and can't wait to see you again!
Lots of love,
Emma, Jill and VD

She is so cute! Sorry to hear about the coughing yucky stuff. We deal with that about every other week. It is no fun when it's a baby. For some reason they don't understand when you are sick you should just lay around and watch tv. They want to play, what is up with that??! Anyway, thanks for sharing the pics. Talk to you soon!

Hi Jill, Dave and Emma,

Hope Emma is back to her busy little self by now. You've got a good looking daughter there, Dave. You and Jason will have to plan how to keep the boys away statagy together. Hope I'm still mentally alert enough in 16 years to enjoy all the drama!!

Nothing new here, except calves, lambs and rain/snow/mud/grumpy guys. I am waiting for them to get one of the big tractors stuck in the bottomless feed lots. Really hope I am at work that day!!

Spring surely must come though, have some hopeful little plants poking out of the potting soil in the utility room. Of course the bottom half of the garden is under water so I don't see outside work happening for some time.

Thanks for the great pics- we surely enjoy them!! Love Mom
