Looking Good Mom!
Congrats Mom!
Our mom is awesome. She ran in a 5K with me on Saturday and finished not too shortly behind me. Not only did she finish successfully, she was the fastest in her age group. Way to go mom!
Thanks, you guys-- but don't be too impressed, the guy handing out the medals wouldn't tell me how many runners were in the 50-65 age group. Was I the only one??
Also, it was run/walk-- but it felt good to actually finish-- I kind of wondered about it.
Jeannie, it was a great weekend-- absolutely had a ball. How can you beat playing with three little girls, shopping, eating out, zoo and the apple orchard?
Did any of you watch The Amazing Race Sun?? As Jeannie knows, I did the wasabi challenge Friday, when we tried out a Japanese resturant. My first taste of sushi, (not too bad), but for some reason I decided to try the green blob left on the sushi plate-- bet I turned a brillent scarlet and I am sure smoke poured out of my ears. Could identify with those Amazing Race couples!!
We watched the Amazing Race -- we all have our picks: I'm going with the Globetrotters team, Bobbie is going with the two guy friends (one of them with Ausberger disease) and Kade is going with blonde bombshell couple (no surprise there).

That is great, Mom. You still got it!
Kade said "wowwy zowwy" when I told him how far you ran and that you got a medal!
