Okay - I figured I would set my family as ease to show some of the pictures that I had on my trip to the Big Horn Mountains. Although Tammy's interpretation is not to far off, I don't think I have enough life insurance to pull off that move or guts. Although I have seen something close.
So and update on my sled. I was able to ride it out there. It ran fairly well until about 3 hours in when I got to the top of a hill to help one of our pack dig his sled out of the snow and I shut it off. Needless to say it would not start back up. So we ended up pulling it back to the lodge and then taking down the mountain the next day with two other sleds to get it fixed. Seems to be the Stator(sp) which is used to charge the battery was only partially working (apparently not enough to run my gas pump). We charged the battery and I was back up and running that afternoon. I have this part from my old engine so I will be going to the mechanic again to replace that part. Anyways I rented the last day as I did not have a charger on the mountain and wanted to ride without problems. It was a lot of fun. I have included some hills and other pictures of where we were. There are not many pictures of me as I was running the camera, but I have a few friends that have some and I will share when I get them. Anyways enjoy.

Picture of a avalanche area. You can see the side we went up and someone jumped off of the top. (This was not me however)

This is a picture of a pretty trail we were on.

This is a good view from atop a hill. Straight down on the other side as you can see from the picture.
We rode to the top of this hill as well. See the snowmobile behind the small tree on the trail. We came up the hill from the front of the picture.

Cool pics, Terry. Bummer about the mechanical problems. Are snowmobiles typically pretty high-maintenance?
Now Bobbie can quit hounding you about posting pics :)
Beautiful scenery, although I get the chills anytime I see that much snow and think about covering country on a windy snowmobile-- (on a horse maybe!- if there was a cow to chase--)
Glad you had fun-- this time of year there needs to be something to do for fun, since spring doesn't seem inclined to show up!!
Great pictures, Terry. I'm jealous!
