Just thought I'd let you guys know that the hospital received notice we were approved for National accreditation for our diabetes education program. This is a big thing, sort of the cummulation of several years work. Now all those 65 yrs and older who need diabetic teaching can get it with Medicare paying a large % of the bill. Am feeling pretty good about it-- was afraid it might take more than one try to have everything in line. Of course, time will tell how hard it is to satisfy all the guideline throughout the year. Have wanted to accomplish this for a large part of my work career!

Congrats! That is some accomplishment. From working at the university, I know how big a deal and how much work gaining a national accreditation is. As the others have said -- better celebrate with a nice bottle of wine!
