Hi everyone. Just a quick post to let Grandma see Kade's very beautiful amaryllis and to share a couple pictures from the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby. The amaryllis has had two four-flower big blooms! And the pinewood derby was great fun! The Packers car may not have won, but it sure was fun watching it compete. It did win at least one heat, but finished middle of the pack in our Den, which has nine kids. Hope this note finds everyone doing well and enjoying the mild winter. Spring will be here before we know it! Miss you all!

Amaryllis Blooms!!

My Bulb is doing GREAT, and I think it will open all the way in a couple days! I will have to post another picture of it all the way bloomed... Also, I have another bloom that should open in a week or so that I will take a picture of. My plant is so big that it almost completely cracked in half so hopefully it will stay upright now that I have added some support to it.( more than in the first picture! ) I hope everyone else's plants are also doing well!

Look Who's 4!

I can't believe Addy and Alex are 4! Where does time go? The party was a hit! Although I think all parents and grandparents who participated where exhausted when it was time to go.

Thanks to the Dave and Melissa family for outfitting the girls for their b-day. Addy loves her new spiderman shirt (she said "cool" when she went outside and it changed colors, and Alex loves the sparkles on her new wardrobe (plus it is purple). And thanks to grandma for the new cowgirl fancy hats. It is going to be hard to get those off them for bed.
