A Little Sunshine

Thought we would share our picture on a cold and snowy night! There are three buds blooming and a fourth that's almost ready to pop.

Thanks, Grandma Sharon, the amaryllis is beautiful!

That is just beautiful Kade - thanks for sharing...helps to lessen this frigid weather and realize spring is just around the corner. Taylor's has a blossom trying to open up, will post as soon as it does.

Kade--

I am so excited, you got a striped and double flower. I didn't know I had any of that kind in my garden bulbs. Maybe you took such good care of it it decided to be especially beautiful!! You definately be in the running for most beautiful (and unusual).

Am tired of winter and snow, too. It helps to have the sun shining today although it hasn't been much above 8 degrees all day.

Had a scary day last Tues- Uncle Dave ran Baby over with the tractor. She was guarding the gate by the cows as she usually does and crossed in front of the tractor. Dave never saw her. I am not sure who felt worse, Grampa, Dave or Baby. She must have 9 lives like a cat as miraculously she wasn't hurt.

Grampa took her to the vet to be X-rayed but nothing was broken. We still worried that somthing might be damaged that wouldn't show up right away, but except for being really stiff and sore for a few days she is ok now. She was mad a Grampa for a few days, guess she thought it was his fault.

Take care, guys-- spring has to come - I think the groundhog saw his shadow here though. That's not good! Love, Grandma
